Hi!
My name is Juliette, and I’m starting Microbiature. I’m a young doctor currently working in public health, and I have a special interest in everything microbial. Microbiature is supposed to be a personal side project for me, to pour a love for knowledge into. My first aim is to have fun. My secondary aim is to publish summaries of recent relevant literature in the fields of (clinical) microbiology, infectious diseases and public health. Maybe I’ll do something crazy and write about interesting papers outside those bounds, too.
Additionally, I’d like to write about novels with infectious diseases in them and explore how those affect the plot, the worldbuilding and the characters.
Importantly, I do all reading, writing and summarizing myself. No artificial intelligence, just my little laptop and me.
